For years, I was a high-achiever building what I thought was a solid career. I remain an achiever but realized I was building castles on sand. I had the skills and the titles, but not a solid foundation to navigate a true crisis with grace. The costs were many over the years.
A few years ago, I hit a 'perfect storm' of burnout and began an ongoing journey with long covid. It stopped me in my tracks. I didn’t need more 'leadership tips'; I needed a new mental operating system.
I found this through Mental Fitness. It didn't just help me survive; it helped me figure out my operating system, gave me a solid foundation, and allowed me to manage myself and my energy differently to finally start thriving.

The Philosophy
I didn't choose this program to add another certification to my wall. I chose it when I hit my own perfect storm of long-covid and burnout. I needed a way to manage my mind that was science-based, "sticky," and actually worked when life got messy.
Most training is a flash-in-the-pan; we learn the theory and fade back to the status quo in a month. MindMastery is different. We synthesize neuroscience, cognitive behavioural training, and habit-building to treat the root cause of your stress, not just the symptoms.
The "Skeptic Test": I've seen the most analytical minds—including talented academics, engineers, students, and artists in my circle—move from skepticism to mastery. One of those, my son, saw the shift in my energy after my "perfect storm" in 2022. He chose to go through the program himself, and then a second time. His experience confirmed what I suspected: this isn't just a corporate tool; it's a foundational life skill that holds up even under the pressure of a university degree. It is a legacy I wish I had discovered decades ago.

Build powerful lasting habits
Daily
Focus
15 minutes a day of app-guided practice enables you to establish mental muscles (neural pathways).
These exercises are bite-sized to fit your busy schedule and customized based on how you self-sabotage.

Weekly
Focus
Weekly 1-hour videos deliver deep experiential training in the week’s focus. Each video is broken into chunks so you can pace yourself.
You’ll feel inspired and energized to practice during the week in order to deepen your learning and integrate these shifts into the actual rhythm of your day.

Measurable Progress
The app has a fun game design, tracking your progress. You’ll feel motivated through instant feedback on exactly how much progress you’re making towards building the 3 core muscles of mental fitness.

Program Outline
Week 1: Take the Wheel
Through a process called PQ® Reps, similar to mindfulness and simpler, you get to boost your "self-command" muscle. A rep is only 10 seconds and helps you develop greater mastery over your own mind, quiet the negative, and activate the positive region of your brain.
Week 2 to 3: Your Inner Critics
You learn to intercept your top "saboteurs" the moment they try to hijack your thoughts, feelings, and actions. In preparation for this practice, you get to expose the lies, limiting beliefs, and damage of your saboteurs so they can no longer fool you into thinking they are helpful to you.
Week 4 to 7: Your Wisdom Muscle
You practice the "Sage" perspective that every problem or challenge can be converted into a gift and opportunity. And you get to generate the gift through the 5 Sage Powers of Empathize, Explore, Innovate, Navigate, and Activate.
Week 7 also includes MindMastery application in Work & Life
This week shows how you can apply your learning and evolving skills in all areas of life and work, including stress management, parenting, leadership, conflict management, health & well-being, relationships, and change management.

Following an overview of MindMastery (including Positive Intelligence®), we break out into discussion groups focusing on top Saboteurs (from the online Saboteur Assessment).
This interactive session is how you can shift from a conceptual understanding of the topic to a deep personal "aha” of exactly how you have been sabotaging your own effectiveness, wellness, and relationships.
This is a lot of fun and where your team will get really excited about new possibilities for themselves and each other.
