Are you a passionate person who, perhaps...
  • Has multiple fascinations, talents and thirst for learning.

  • Never fit in just one box or bucket, even though society tries to put us there.

  • Values living meaningfully, contributing to what really matters.

  • Wants to navigate life and work in way that is even-keeled and true to you.
  • Appreciates the benefits and impact of personal and professional development.
  • Is seeking a different way; considering or in transition.

Maybe you experience something like the following scenarios? What would it be like to NOT be feeling:

  • That you are always trading off between performance, well being and balance?

  • At sea, lost, drifting, unfocused or feeling that something is missing?

  • Often bored or yearning for something more or different?

  • Overwhelmed, underwhelmed, unbalanced, stressed?

  • Self-doubting, under-confident, experiencing stress and anxiety?

  • Unclear in what you want or even what's possible?

What would it be like to be free to revel in your genuine self, your natural and growing talents and fascinations; to be multipotentialite, becoming the polymath you are meant to be?

  • Build strengths and take action, supporting performance, relationships and wellbeing.

  • Chart your unique path with clarity and tied to what really matters.

  • Be aligned with your authenticity, purpose and values.

  • Navigate with self-assurance and laser-focused action.

  • Evolve and lead yourself and others personally and professionally.

  • Enhance confidence, communication, listening, conflict management and trust building.

  • Significantly reduce overwhelm, stress and anxiety.

  • Experience your peak performance, peace and wellness, and improved relationships.

They say, if you are searching for the one person that will change your life, look at your reflection. AND that does not mean you have to sail alone. Are you ready to explore how partnering with the right coach can help chart and navigate your journey?

You need time to step back and paint the big picture, to allow space to think differently and figure out what you really want, what's most important.

Essentially, you are "here" and you want to be "there", maybe you first need to figure out what you want "there" to be. Coaching is a tool to more easily get to who, how, what and where you want to be. Maybe you are seeking the best way forward in one of these scenarios or a different situation.

  • Honing my leadership skills

  • Enhancing my performance, individually and as part of my team

  • Navigating an important transition in my life or work

  • Evolving my "leader within" / self-leadership of my life, personally and at work

  • Learning how to manage my mind, quieting inner saboteurs and bring out my wise sage

  • Gaining clarity on critical issues, strategy and traction on goals

  • Creating my life by design (not by default)

  • Shifting self-limiting beliefs to move forward and shine!

  • Surviving—and thriving—in light of everyday uncertainties

Coaching is a want, not a need. It's a way of gaining traction and momentum towards what you really want. It’s a way of investing in yourself. It benefits you and the people in your world. And it ripples outward in the world. There’s nothing better.

about coaching

about coaching

Executive and leadership coaching emerged from positive psychology and diverged from therapy. It is present and forward-focused, grounded in psychology, neuroscience, and learning and development research. Collectively, I call it "leadership coaching" and it is one powerful way to help empower people in their lives. It was considered and remains an executive "perk". Today, coaching is leveraged by people at all levels, both through their work organizations and independently as individuals.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. John Whitmore describes coaching as "unlocking a person’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”

Coaching helps us learn and think differently, clearing out inner critics, self-limiting narratives, assumptions and beliefs, and opening up our capacities and new possibilities.

I also like to think of coaching as a tool for you to evolve the person you are and your whole life. It's about self-actualization and leadership in all contexts; as an individual, partner, family member and friend; as a leader and peer; in groups, teams, departments and organizations.

about me

Toni & son, Beach Walk.jpeg

Originally from Scotland and a child of the hippy era, today I live with my family in Vancouver, Canada. I love experiencing other cultures and have visited and worked in North and Central America, New Zealand and Europe. When not coaching, you'll find me gardening, practising yoga, drawing, exploring cities and towns, and enjoying nature walks.

When I first read definitions like the ones below and watched Emilie Wapnick's TED Talk Why some of us don't have one true calling, I felt such kinship and belonging. Oh, so this is who I am!

"A multipotentialite is a person who has many different interests and creative pursuits in life. Multipotentialites have no “one true calling” the way specialists do... We have many paths and we pursue all of them, either sequentially or simultaneously (or both)."

"Multipotentiality is an educational and psychological term referring to the ability and preference of a person, particularly one of strong intellectual or artistic curiosity, to excel in two or more different fields."

~ Emilie Wapnick, Terminology, Puttylike and Wikipedia

I'm sciency, artsy, a learning addict and an ambivert. Simply connecting with people, especially one on one and in small groups, fills my bucket. And I enjoy my alone time.

I feel grateful that I got to learn, do and be many things in my career and life. And now, as a coach, I appreciate that get to work with diverse people as a learning and thinking partner—to play even a small role in them tapping into their own multifaceted brilliance.

Coaching fascinates me, especially its connection to what is emerging in the area of neuroscience and its positive impact on resilience and creativity. My nomadic history, non-linear career-path, and learning passions have culminated into who I am today. I've been called a polymath (and then had to look the word up) and my superpower is continuously learning and building on all that I am and bring—in service to me, my family and friends, and the human beings I partner with as a coach.

Clients tell me I am an open, trusted sounding board, immensely relatable and that I challenge them directly and non-judgmentally in ways that stimulate new thinking and progress.

My purpose, in life and work, is to be a catalyst for helping create a world of what I call "feels like a Saturday" lives. This means we get to do all that we cannot not do, where most mornings we wake up feeling like it's a Saturday. Our aim together is more ease and flow, one step at a time. I'd love to explore what Feels like a SaturdayTM can look like and mean for you.
